Maverick's event division took a rocking start, with Elder's Filmfare award's, after the success of the same Maverick launched India's first global television awards with Zee in Mauritius, on September 2007. Aptly titled "The Gold Awards", the event was co-produced by Maverick Productions and White Leaf Entertainment Pvt.Ltd, and was a huge success this award was supported by the TV fraternity in full force. This was followed up with Maverick creating annual properties like BeYu Fashion Awards and a series of Regional Miss Mumbai, Miss Pune , Miss Kolkatta and Miss Delhi . The series of the Miss awards will culminate into national Miss India Platinum and the winner of the coveted crown will get to play the lead in one of Maverick Production's forth coming film.
